LITTLE ELBOW
"Little elbow is running smooth, just did yesterday afternoon. Good enough amount of snow and only a few ice patches but no studs required. After the bridge we were the second ones putting tracks on the trail so a little bit mor effort is required because some snow drifts, and softness but overall… super" ~SM (Nov20/21)
WBC
"Rode WBC today. Studs needed on West crystal, tom snow to ridgeback, and strange brew. But Bobcat was about 25% snow and minimal ice." ~RB (Nov20/21)
"Everything in WBC is stunning for fat biking , did a couple ox XC trails before they close. Superb"

HIGH ROCKIES
"Rode High Rockies trail from Peninsula to Black Prince. Started at the Canyon Day use area crossed the Dam and up Peninsula. There was old hiker tracks but no biking traffic hard crusted snow with deep drifts in the open areas by the rode. 85 percent rideable till the suspension bridge.(even better now that a dozen fat bikes have gone by) From the bridge down to Black prince was epic. Great snowshoe traffic make hard packed fast and flowy. The plan was to go to Sawmill but there was no traffic on the trail snow was soft and deep from BP going north. Only went 50 meters and turned around. Did the small out back along the lake." ~KI (Nov20/21)
POWDERFACE
"Rode Powderface trail and Prairie creek trail as a figure 8 this morning. Powderface starts off with about 1 inch of snow with ice underneath. Prairie link is the same but with a few bare patches. Prairie creek going was had no traffic at all you can now follow my tire tracks. About 1 to 2 inches of snow also with ice underneath. There is also a tree down about 500 before the juction of the road. The gravel road is mostly glare ice. Powderface climb to the ridge is well packed down by hikers. The downhill was also untouched and a fantastic ride. Back over the link to finish off going east on Prairie creek trail. Lots of ice. We rode on both 4.8 and 2.8 studded tires." ~KI (Nov19/21)
