Some of this trail info is already outdated with our recent run of unseasonably warm weather. I was fortunate to escape to Lake Louise - Emerald Lake area for a couple of days.
Trails done starting with most recent:
1) Emerald Lake - Alluvial Fan Loop
I was admittedly tough slogging starting off. Good fortune came along as Joe the Groomer (see: https://www.khsc.ca/ ) came from behind us and trackset Alluvial Fan loop as we were about 1/3 of the way along. Wish we had started a little later.
Snow was still really soft given the temperatures, still making for tricky conditions but still stoked to have finally gotten this trail in the books.
We stayed along the lakeside as the portion in the woods seemed to have pine needles.
2) Kicking Horse Trail (from Natural Bridge parking)
It was excellent. Not sure now again after warming temperatures.
3) Great Divide
Great the day we did it earlier in the week but things are a changing.
