I rode Powderface/Prairie Link/Creek short loop today. Powderface to Prairie Link was fantastic - nice hard packed snow. First climb up Prairie Link had foot prints but was rideable. The dh was great - no ruts or ice. Prairie Creek was mostly good, a few rideable ice patches here and there. The last km before the rock drop at the end was sketchy, very narrow trail with consequences on the downhill side. Snowdrifted on the uphill side. The rock drop was not rideable - really icy with deep trenches/sliding boot prints. Hard to find a line.
Other than that last km or so, it was in great condition. If we get a bit of fresh snow tonight, it should be good.
I didn't venture up towards the Ridge. The trail to the ridge was not as packed or as wide as the rest of trails.
Thanks for this (late I know - missed earlier - praying to the snows gods now!)
